Summary StatementThis position provides nursing and oversight of residents’ nursing needs during trips, community outing activities, and in-house activities including, but not limited to, direct nursing care, assessments, and coordination of health care services for the residents. Responsibilities include supervising, providing, evaluating, and assisting with care and treatments by direct care staff and activities staff. In addition, this position will have regular contact with residents, families, nursing staff, physicians, dietary, pharmacy, administration, and other ancillary departments of the facility.

- Provides or evaluates direct nursing care.
- Develops, implements and/or reviews nursing care plans.
- Provides health care instruction and guidance to individuals, families, community groups and/or nursing home facilities in the management of their health care needs.
- Maintains an effective working relationship with other members of the treatment team.
- Prepares and submits records, reports, evaluations and forms.
- Participates in and make recommendations regarding quality assurance activities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS For Registered Nurse I
Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:
- Possession of a Delaware Registered Nurse license, Delaware temporary license or multi-state compact license.
JOB REQUIREMENTS For Registered Nurse II
Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing OR at least one year experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Possession of a Delaware Registered Nurse license OR multi-state compact license.
JOB REQUIREMENTS For Registered Nurse III
Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:
- At least two years' experience as a Registered Nurse OR a Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing and at least one year experience as a Registered Nurse OR a Master's degree or higher in Nursing.
- Possession of a Delaware Registered Nurse license OR multi-state compact license.
This is a Casual/Seasonal position which is a non-pension eligible position without healthcare and/or other benefits.
