Qualifications & Desired

Experience:

• Valid RN license in the state of Delaware (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide first aid
• Comfort working as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
• Up-to-date CPR/BLS certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer routine and emergency nursing care to students and staff
• Implement Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) and manage chronic illness needs
• Monitor and document student health records and immunizations
• Educate students, staff, and families on health topics and wellness practices
• Assist in maintaining effective infection control practices within the school
• Liaise with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers as needed
