*** Providing direct, resident-centered nursing care.
* Administering medications and treatments as ordered.
* Coordinating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
* Admitting, transferring, and discharging residents.
* Monitoring resident health, documenting observations, and responding to changes in condition.
* Educating residents and families on care plans.
* Ensuring rooms are ready for new admissions and participating in orientation.
** What you'll bring:
*** Current, unencumbered RN license.
* Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
* Ability to make independent decisions and strong communication skills.
* Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and long-term care regulations.
* Patience, tact, and a positive attitude, especially with elderly and diverse populations.
* Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
** Physical Demands & Environment:
*** Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday.
* Cope with mental and emotional stress of the position.
* May work beyond normal hours, including call-back during emergencies.
* Exposure to infectious waste, diseases, and hazardous chemicals is possible (standard for healthcare).
