Full Time 80 Hours - Shift: Days
- SALARY RANGE: 32.81 - 50.85 HOURLY
Provides professional nursing care to patients within the Wound Care Center located at the Bayhealth Kent Campus in Dover. Will need to have flexibility to provide as needed coverage at the Wound Care Center located on the Bayhealth Sussex Campus in Milford. Professional nursing practices, requiring specialized knowledge, critical thinking, judgment, and skill are performed in accordance with practice policy, procedure, and philosophy.
Responsibilities- Restores and promotes patient’s health by completing nursing process.
- Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
- Accurately and completely records all required data in the medical record and departmental database.
- Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and families.
- Uses advanced communication skills with all levels of internal and external customers.
- Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and professional standards.
- Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information and participating in team problem-solving methods.
- All other duties as assigned within the scope and range of job responsibilities.
- Education:
Associate Degree Nursing;
Or Nursing Diploma. - Credential(s):
Basic Life Support, Registered Nurse - Experience:
- Required:
At least two years clinical nursing experience in a physician practice or hospital environment - Preferred:
Three or more years in a physician practice or hospital setting
