Travel Cath Lab RN – 12‑Week Assignment, Dover, New Hampshire
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a 12‑week travel assignment in Dover, New Hampshire.
Responsibilities- Conduct assessment of patients prior to procedures, including reviewing medical history and performing physical exams.
- Assist physicians during procedures, including placement of catheters, wires, balloons, stents, structural heart devices, and other cardiac interventions.
- Operate and monitor hemodynamic equipment, recognizing and responding to changes in cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic waveforms.
- Assist in arterial and/or venous sheath removal using closure devices, manual pressure, or mechanical compression, and transport patients to the appropriate recovery area.
- Support post‑procedure care, including monitoring patient recovery and ensuring a smooth transition to the next phase of care.
- Maintain and troubleshoot cath lab equipment, ensuring everything is functioning properly and fully stocked for procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members, patients, families, and physicians to provide seamless care.
- Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards.
- One year of recent experience as a Cath Lab RN.
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
- Physical ability to remain in a stationary position, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend.
- Technical/motor skills to grasp, perform fine manipulation, and assist with procedures or departmental equipment.
- Mental readiness to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure; ability to work under close supervision and independently.
- Must read, write, and communicate in English.
