Governors Avenue Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and team-oriented Veterinary Technologist to join our growing practice. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to become part of a supportive environment focused on exceptional patient care and continued learning.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Obtaining accurate patient histories from clients
- Reviewing and researching previous medical records
- Presenting patient information and findings clearly to the Veterinarian
- Assisting with appointments, routine procedures, dentistry, and surgeries
- Following Veterinarian instructions and treatment plans
- Administering medications and treatments
- Performing radiographic studies
- Conducting laboratory testing
- Entering accurate medical information into the computer system
- Supporting fellow team members and maintaining a collaborative environment
- Communicating with clients regarding laboratory results, follow-up care, and appointments
- A supportive, team-focused work environment
- Ongoing opportunities to learn and grow alongside experienced professionals
- 32–40 hours per week with occasional Saturdays
