Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour (Hourly Plan)

Schedule:

5:30AM – 2:30PM or 11:00AM – 7:30PM — based on facility’s needs.

Position Type:
Full‑time and part‑time available.

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment for the hospital cafeteria.
• Sanitize all pots, pans, utensils, and equipment in a timely manner.
• Support stocking and inventories by shelving and organizing delivered food and items.
• Put away deliveries, label and date products, and break down boxes.
• Stock and monitor towels and soap dispensers throughout the shift.
• Clean and return all kitchen equipment and serving ware in a timely manner.
• Set up and maintain a 3-compartment sink and dish machine.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and spot‑clean floors and high‑traffic areas.
• Monitor and empty trash cans.
• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and wear uniform.
• Physical ability to stand and walk continuously, push dish racks, stoop, bend, and lift up to 40pounds.
• Capable of operating the necessary equipment to perform essential functions of the job.
• Must pass a background check, drug screen, and provide proof of employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID‑19 or have an approved exemption.
• Preferred:
  Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare, dishwasher, housekeeping, janitor, custodian).
