Part‑Time, Non‑Exempt - Wage: $15.00/hour
- Unlock and lock the facility at the beginning and end of the day
- Open cash register, fill out appropriate cash register opening form, and count money
- Operate cash register
- Handle customers in a friendly and polite manner
- Reserve tennis courts for customers
- Answer the phone
- Give information about rules and policies when necessary or requested; enforce rules and policies
- Help Director of Tennis with tournament administration when asked
- Help run leagues
- Use the phone as instructed to promote activities at the facility
- Squeegee tennis courts after rainfall
- Assist customers with the ball machine
- Keep clubhouse, bathrooms and windows clean
- Sweep and vacuum the Tennis Complex and cashier's area and clean the counter at the end of the day and at other necessary times
- Pick up and empty trash; pull weeds on the grounds
- Arrange for substitutes and notify the Supervisor of any changes
- Close out the register at the end of the working day
- Complete timesheets for payroll
- Arrive at specified time to begin shift
- Wear appropriate clothing/uniform and be properly groomed
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor

LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
REASONING ABILITYAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
