The following responsibilities cover the core duties of this role.

• Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs; providing guidance and support regarding self‑service technology; assisting with purchasing decisions; locating merchandise; resolving member issues and concerns; and promoting the company's products and services.
• Assists management with supervision of associates: assigns duties, communicates goals and feedback, trains on procedures, provides direction on member service approaches, ensures policy compliance, supports the Open Door Policy, and participates in hiring, scheduling, coaching, and evaluating associates.
• Receives and stocks supplies and merchandise from distribution centers and vendors; organizes and maintains the sales floor using equipment, merchandising, and completes required paperwork, logs, and documentation.
• Maintains facility safety by conducting sweeps, following forklift spotting and hazardous materials handling protocols, adhering to steel‑standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations.
• Ensures proper merchandise presentation: handles claims and returns, zones the area, stocks and arranges merchandise, sets up displays, removes damaged goods, signs and prices merchandise, identifies shrink and damages, secures fragile and high‑shrink items.
• Monitors food and merchandise quality: enforces product rotation, code dating, recalls, sanitation standards, and maintains categories and cleanliness.
• Leads and participates in teams: shares resources, determines customer needs and business priorities, coordinates work assignments, provides feedback, and supports adaptation to change.
• Oversees picking and staging of club pick‑up orders, ensuring adherence to company policy and procedures.
• Develops, communicates, and implements processes and practices: collaborates with managers, co‑workers, customers, and partners; analyzes information; monitors progress; and identifies improvement opportunities.
• Promotes compliance: explains and demonstrates application of policies, implements action plans, uses the Open Door Policy, and assists management with addressing ethical and compliance issues.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 6 months retail experience AND 6 months customer service experience.

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00 to $31.00*.

* The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
