Job Description

In this full‑time role as Assistant Manager, you will lead a store team ensuring operational excellence and exceptional customer service.

• Oversee all aspects of store operations, including cost controls, inventory management, cash handling, and customer relations.
• Set an example by following company policies and procedures and holding the crew accountable.
• Manage staffing, paperwork, work schedules, and profitability.
• Maintain store cleanliness, marketing initiatives, and a positive store image.
• Provide training, orientation, and coaching to new and existing staff.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members via phone and in‑person.
• Perform basic math functions and handle monetary transactions accurately.
• Use computer or touchscreen to enter orders and update inventory.
• Navigate delivery routes and handle adverse terrain and weather.

• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred.
• Prior retail or food‑service experience, preferably supervisory.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Basic math and technology proficiency.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and access to an insured vehicle.

• Standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and carrying items up to 12 lbs.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and in confined spaces.
• Capacity to operate equipment such as ovens, dollies, and flat‑bodied trays.
• Must comply with safety procedures for hot surfaces, moving mechanical parts, and handling food.
