The Role:Surveillance Officer
Responsible for safeguarding the company's assets and for the safety of guests and employees. Observes, monitors, and records activities occurring in the casino area and throughout the facility, recording observations as required.
Responsibilities- Observe the facility through the pan, zoom and tilt cameras and record all pertinent activity on the Surveillance system.
- Coordinate with the supervisor to record questionable activity for review and possible use as evidence in court.
- Conduct observations of gaming areas as directed.
- Detect cheating, theft, and other illegal activities.
- Prepare daily logs of all pertinent activity.
- Log and mark video clips and store them in one of several repositories on the Surveillance system.
- Observe facility entrances, the cashiers' cage, vaults, and count rooms.
- Verify chip fills and kiosk cassette fills.
- Monitor the fire alarm panel and coordinate responses to fire alarms and system troubles, notifying proper persons per established procedures.
- Notify appropriate management, supervisors, Delaware State Lottery, and/or the Division of Gaming Enforcement in a timely manner.
- Monitor security radio transmissions.
- Monitor Slots Management, DSX Door Access, Fire Panel and Biometrica computer systems.
- Coordinate response to hold-up alarms.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Work safely, following all established safety rules and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and guests.
- Follow all relevant policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office products.
- Must possess good communication skills.
- Must be able to distinguish all colors.
- Must be punctual and able to report to work on time as scheduled.
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and nights as needed.
- Must successfully pass a background check and receive a license from the DE Lottery.
- Must present an overall professional appearance and dress appropriately.
- Must adhere to the Close Personal Relationship Policy – no close personal relationships among employees.
- Must be able to learn specific job duties, complete detailed assignments, and maintain knowledge of basic concepts and techniques.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English.

Target Hourly Rate: $18.50/hr
