We are seeking candidates with strong experience in assembling and installing furniture from all manufacturers, including fitness equipment, play and swing sets, and office furniture. Candidates must be willing to work hard, have reliable transportation, and be able to lift and move items up to 100 lbs.
Responsibilities- Install and assemble a variety of furniture items, including tables, chairs, grills, basketball hoops, fitness equipment, and play sets.
- Set up furniture on customers’ premises, ensuring proper placement and safety.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly in English, explaining solutions to problems, and maintaining a professional appearance.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while managing job times and prioritizing tasks.
- Be available Monday–Sunday for overtime, evenings, and weekends as needed.
- High School Diploma or GED (minimum) with a minimum of 1 year experience in furniture installation and assembly.
- Experience assembling IKEA furniture and office/home furniture.
- Proficiency with power tools such as cordless drills, corded drills, hammers, and screwdrivers.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Legally allowed to work in the United States.
- Self‑motivated, initiative‑taking, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, including ability to react to issues and create solutions.
- Good interpersonal skills and professional customer communication.
- Supervisory skills are a plus.
- Must pass a legal background check and drug test.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift for extended periods.
- Carry and transport heavy equipment individually or with a team.
- Lift items weighing up to 100 lbs regularly.
- Work safely and follow all required safety protocols.
- Full‑time or part‑time positions available.
- Pay rate of $12–$13 per hour, depending on experience.
- 30‑day warranty on all assembly jobs.
