Building Maintenance Mech II

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair duties on reported deficiencies.
• Responsible for the reporting of deficiencies throughout the facilities and systems.
• Perform maintenance service and repairs in the areas of air conditioning/heating, electrical, kitchen, plumbing, machine service, carpentry, painting, plastering, landscaping, harness track preparation, auto track maintenance, welding and/or general maintenance.
• Prepare work area to include movement of furniture/obstructions.
• Transport furniture, equipment, product and supplies around the property.
• Set up chairs, tables, stanchions, and other furniture items for special events and meetings.
• Run errands and pick up supplies and parts for maintenance projects.
• Drive company vehicles as part of job responsibilities to run errands, pick up/deliver parts, supplies, equipment, etc.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Work safely, following all established safety rules and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with co‑workers, supervisors and guests.
• Follow all relevant policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Requires a basic working knowledge and understanding of electric, plumbing, HVAC, diagnostic equipment, and general maintenance.
• Must be able to communicate in English clearly and effectively both orally and in writing.
• Must be able to provide support to co‑workers.
• Must be able to express ideas or make recommendations concerning job related issues.
• Must be able to learn specific job duties and complete detailed work assignments.
• Must be able to maintain knowledge of basic concepts and techniques.
• Must be able to perceive emergency or distress signals.
• Must be able inspect or secure proper use of equipment.

• Requires physical activity including lifting, moving equipment, and standing for extended periods.

• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and nights as scheduled.
