Position OverviewD2 Government Solutions is seeking six full-time Aircraft Servicers to support aircraft wash, corrosion control, and maintenance services for C‑5 and C‑17 aircraft at Dover Air Force Base. This role performs hands‑on aircraft servicing tasks and supports maintenance operations in a safety‑sensitive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform aircraft wash, cleaning, corrosion‑control support, lubrication support, de‑paneling, re‑paneling, and related servicing tasks after completing required training and qualification.
- Assist with aircraft tow operations, wash rack activities, flightline support, and maintenance‑area tasks when properly trained and authorized.
- Use current technical data, checklists, tools, equipment, and approved materials to complete assigned work safely and accurately.
- Maintain tool accountability, Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention, proper use of personal protective equipment, and clean work areas throughout each service event.
- Support removal, identification, protection, and reinstallation of panels, access doors, hardware, and related aircraft components as directed.
- Report equipment issues, safety concerns, damage, spills, documentation discrepancies, or incomplete work immediately to supervision.
- Support scheduled services, cleaning operations, emergency services, after‑hours work, weekends, holidays, severe weather responses, and surge operations as required by aircraft workload.
- Experience in aircraft maintenance, aircraft washing, corrosion control, flightline support, vehicle/equipment servicing, or related mechanical work.
- Ability to follow technical instructions, safety procedures, environmental controls, and supervisor direction in an aircraft maintenance environment.
- Ability to perform physically active work, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, using tools/equipment, and working around aircraft and wash facilities.
- Ability to work flexible schedules aligned with aircraft maintenance requirements, including nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency call‑ins.
- Ability to obtain required installation access, complete mandatory training, and maintain individual training records.
- Common Access Card (CAC):
Required if needed for network, installation, or G081 access. - Security Clearance / Suitability:
National Agency Check or base access verification as required. - U.S. Citizenship:
Required for employees needing access to CAC‑enabled LAN or G081 systems. - Computer Systems
Experience:
G081 or similar aircraft maintenance information system preferred for personnel assigned documentation tasks; not required for all servicer duties unless system access is assigned.
