Natural Gas Apprentice

What you'll be working on:
* Assist in the installation, inspection, and repair of natural gas pipelines and related infrastructure, including installing remote meter reading devices, meter reading, line locating, painting meters.
* Learns to detect and respond to gas leaks using specialized equipment.
* Supports routine maintenance tasks under the supervision of experienced technicians including, traffic control, landscaping, stocking of trucks with equipment, supplies and tools.
* Operates hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
* Participates in emergency response activities as needed.
* Documents work performed and maintain accurate records.
Who you are:
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Basic computer skills
* Willingness to learn and follow instructions precisely
* Able to work within a diverse workforce
* Some knowledge of hand tools or maintenance acumen
* Ability to follow all safety procedures and regulatory compliance standards
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Valid driver's license, CDL preferred
