Job Description

The Delaware Department of Transportation is seeking a contractual experienced Full Stack Java Developer with emphasis on Back End dynamic web development, with a possibility of native iOS web app development.

This position will be primarily responsible for performing the complete SDLC for advanced innovative, scalable, java web applications. This includes analysis, requirements, full system architecture design, developing, testing, debugging through implementation and ongoing enhancements and support.

It is preferred that the individual have native iOS app development using Swift 5+.

Once the individual is selected, they have had onboarding, and have proven independence, this position could be hybrid (onsite required 2-3 days per week). It is anticipated that this position would be a longer-term assignment with a 37.5-hour work week.

• Performing the complete SDLC for advanced innovative, scalable, java web applications.
• Analysis, requirements, full system architecture design, developing, testing, debugging through implementation and ongoing enhancements and support.

• 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience designing, developing, configuring, testing, and supporting Dynamic Java Web applications.
• Minimum 7 years of experience JDK 17+.
• Minimum 7 years of solid knowledge, experience, and utilization of Java Design Patterns.
• Minimum of 7 years of solid knowledge, and experience, and utilization of Object-Oriented Programming.
• Minimum 7 years of experience of full database design and administration with Oracle 23c+.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience with MVC Pattern.
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing with Spring Boot 3.0+.
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing with Angular 16+.
• Minimum 7 years of experience utilizing Advanced SQL/PLSQL.
• Minimum 7 years of experience developing complex API, SOAP and REST Web services.

Hybrid work schedule (onsite required 2-3 days per week)

Longer-term assignment with a 37.5-hour work week
