Sr. IT Developer SITD

Mican Technologies, Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Sr. IT Developer (# SITD
1225).

Bear, DE and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.

• Design, develop, implement, test, maintain, and support business and computer applications software or specialized utility programs, and major enhancement of existing systems.
• Fine-tune and improve a variety of sophisticated software implementation projects.
• Gather and analyze user and business requirements, write and document specifications, and develop software solutions to meet client needs.
• Implement software and customize to client requirements.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and provide production support.
• Write code for moderately complex system designs.
• Write programs that span platforms.
• Write code for enhancing existing programs or developing new programs.
• Review code developed by other Developers.
• Provide input to and drive programming standards.
• Report missing elements found in system and functional requirements and explain impacts on subsystem to team members.
• Perform unit testing and debugging.
• Set test conditions based upon code specifications.
• Document what has to be migrated.

• This position requires a Master’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical / Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Software Developer, Programmer Analyst, or related experience.
• Will accept a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience.
• Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein.
• 40 hrs/week.
