Internship Description
This internship provides students with hands-on, project-based exposure to applied AI systems, including machine learning, computer vision, NLP / LLM-based applications, and AI-enabled workflows. Participants will work on guided AI projects under mentor support, focusing on how AI models are applied within real software systems rather than academic research alone.
Activities & Exposure- Practice building ML workflows using Python and common AI libraries
- Explore data preprocessing, model training, and evaluation in applied settings
- Gain experience integrating AI models into end-to-end project pipelines
- Learn how modern AI tools and APIs are used in practical applications
- Participate in weekly milestones and technical reviews
- A clearer understanding of applied AI system design
- Experience explaining AI workflows and trade-offs
- A demonstrable project suitable for resumes and interviews
Preferred Background
- Major in CS, Data Science, AI/ML, or Engineering
- Familiarity with Python and common ML libraries
- Interest in applied AI, ML systems, or AI-enabled applications
