Bloodmobile Driver – Dover position at Blood Bank of Delmarva.

• Drive blood bank vehicles, including 26‑ft box trucks, bus or vans, to and from blood drives throughout New Castle, Kent, Sussex Counties, and the surrounding areas of MD & PA.
• Assure timely arrival at blood drive locations and operate vehicles safely.
• Assist with setting up, breaking down, and loading/unloading blood drives; prepare and handle equipment and supplies in a neat, regulatory‑compliant manner.
• Assist with donor registration and other support tasks in the donor room and mobile sites.
• Maintain vehicles by performing inspections, minor upkeep, and cleaning; report needed maintenance to Facilities.
• Complete DOT logs and reports as required.
• Exemplify BBD’s Core Values and meet or exceed internal and external customer service expectations.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Valid CDL A or B driver’s license.
• 2+ years of experience driving 26‑ft box trucks or similar large vehicles requiring a Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC), Form MCSA‑5876.
• Working knowledge of large‑vehicle operation, parts, and basic preventative maintenance; ability to read and interpret technical procedures.
• Ability to prepare basic reports related to vehicle maintenanceमध्ये; identify mechanical failures.
• Ability to accurately enter donor information for successful donor registration into a computerเ system.
• Ability to provide highest quality service to all customers; multi‑task proficiently and work a variable schedule.
• CDL A or B License required; MEC, Form MCSA‑5876 required.

• Morning, Evening, and Weekend
  
  HI shifts required. Schedule released 2 weeks in advance.

• +$1.50/hr on Weekends.
