Administrative Assistant To The Assistant Superintendent
The Merrimack School District is seeking a highly organized and collaborative administrative assistant to the assistant superintendent to join our central office team. This year-round position provides administrative support to the assistant superintendent while assisting with district-wide professional development, curriculum initiatives, educator licensure processes, along with daily central office operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google workspace
Key responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the assistant superintendent and central office
- Coordinate professional development activities, meetings, agendas, and minutes
- Maintain teacher evaluation, recertification, and licensure records
- Support curriculum, mentoring, grant, and professional development initiatives
- Process purchase orders and personnel action requests (PARs)
- Assist with general office operations, including greeting visitors, answering phones, and distributing mail
- Perform other duties as assigned
Position details:
- Year-round, non-union position
- Full-time: 8 hours per day, 5 days per week (hours will be 8:30 - 4:30)
