Import​/Export Specialist

Overview

KBW is partnered with a growing, privately held organization in the Portsmouth, NH area looking to add a Trade Operations Analyst to their team. This role ensures smooth cross-border movement of goods while maintaining compliance with trade regulations and operational standards.

• Prepare and manage documentation for shipments moving across borders
• Coordinate with external service providers to ensure timely and compliant delivery
• Verify product classifications, origins, and trade-related data for accuracy
• Track shipments and resolve operational issues or delays
• Maintain records, reports, and internal tracking systems to support trade operations
• Monitor regulatory updates and ensure adherence to international trade standards

• 3+ years’ experience supporting international trade, import/export, or global operations
• Solid understanding of customs regulations, tariffs, and compliance requirements
• Experience working with logistics providers or trade partners
• Comfortable using ERP systems and Excel to manage and analyze data
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or a related field preferred
