Job Overview
We're seeking a Director of Sales
- Compliance Services to join our vibrant team and embark on an exciting journey with us.
The position will primarily work during normal business hours of 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, but may require occasional off-hours and weekend work, and 50% travel. The goal of the Director of Sales
- Compliance Services is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.
- Sell CQV Services as well as ancillary service offerings
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell customers by offering additional company business lines that will facilitate customer success
- Develop project scope statements, estimates and staffing plans.
- Interface with clients and provide subject matter expertise in the validation of a variety of utility, facility and process equipment.
- Manage scope, cost, schedule, quality, and risk as required.
- Collaborate with the Regional team and marketing resources to nurture qualified leads and produce relevant, targeted materials to facilitate the sales process
- Participate in a variety of client-facing events, including meetings, trade shows, industry conferences, etc.
- Conducting research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Arranging business meetings with prospective clients
- Promoting Ellab products/services addressing or predicting clients’ needs
- Building long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Provide mentorship to junior sales and business development staff
- Achieving monthly, quarterly & annual financial targets
- Providing pipeline information into monthly forecast tool
- Generating pricing strategies and proposals
- Collaborating with marketing department to ensure proper branding
- Identifying opportunities to partner with vendors and manufacturers
- Gather, analyze and interpret data and metrics
- Coordinate with delivery team based on project statuses for service projects
- Assisting in developing projected financial goals and expectations for services
- 10+ years of experience in a Life Sciences (FDA Regulated) Validation/Project Management role having transitioned or ready to transition to Business Development.
- Proven track record and market knowledge
- Strong business acumen with knowledge of P&L, Project Tracking, Utilization Reports, and other financial documentation.
- Computer literacy, including proficiency with word processing, ERP & CRM applications
- BA/BS in engineering/business/sales & relevant field experience
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
