Construction Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee the on-site execution of a 98-unit ground-up multi-family residential development in Dover, NH. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage day-to-day field operations while monitoring project budget, schedule, and quality. Working directly for the Owner/Developer, the Superintendent will serve as the primary on-site decision-maker and coordinator to maintain progress and deliver the project safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Lead regular site meetings, including subcontractor coordination and owner updates
• Schedule & Budget Management:
  Monitor construction schedule including sequencing trades and activities to minimize delays
• Monitor project costs, track changes, and proactively resolve schedule or cost impact
• Field Supervision:
  Maintain a consistent, professional on-site presence to supervise daily construction activities
• Monitor work to ensure it meets quality standards and complies with relevant plans, specifications, and codes
• Manage site logistics, material deliveries, and equipment coordination
• Safety & Compliance:
  Enforce job site safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA standards
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure proper documentation is maintained
• Quality Assurance & Closeout:
  Implement and maintain a robust quality control program
• Support punch list completion and project closeout processes
• Ensure timely completion of inspections, certifications, and occupancy requirements
• Coordinate turnover documentation including warranties, manuals, and as-builts

• 5+ years of experience in on-site, hands-on construction management
• Strong working knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
• Proficiency in Procore construction management software platform
• Effective communication and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications
• Ability to solve constructability questions in real time with a hands-on approach
• Experience operating site management equipment (Lull, Skid Steer)
