Construction Superintendent

Bauen Corporation is a small, established general contractor based in Meredith, NH, building commercial, municipal, institutional, and residential projects across New Hampshire. We're hiring a Superintendent to lead a significant nursing home addition, with a healthy pipeline of work behind it — schools, libraries, elderly housing, and custom residential.

You’ll own the jobsite: schedule, subcontractors, inspections, quality, safety, and day-to-day owner communication. We're an 8-person company — our principals are in the field, there's no bureaucracy between you and ownership, and our supers aren't afraid to pick up tools when the job calls for it.

• Full site leadership from mobilization through closeout
• Build and maintain look-ahead schedules; coordinate subs and material deliveries
• Run inspections and manage relationships with owners' reps, engineers, and code officials
• Enforce site safety and quality standards
• Communicate progress clearly to clients and the office

• 5+ years of field leadership (superintendent, assistant super, or strong lead carpenter/foreman ready to step up)
• Commercial or institutional project experience preferred — healthcare, schools, municipal a plus
• Comfortable working adjacent to occupied facilities (phasing, dust/noise control, life safety)
• OSHA 30 preferred (OSHA 10 minimum)
• Strong scheduling and subcontractor management skills
• Self-directed — you'll run your site without someone looking over your shoulder

• Salary $80,000–$95,000 depending on experience
