Job DescriptionDover Regional Career and Technical Education Electrical Technology Teacher (anticipated) responsible for providing in‑classroom course instruction, support and guidance, manage the learning process, and focus on students’ individual needs. Applicant should be able to integrate academic, industry and technical content into a program that meets all necessary competencies and standards for local, state and federal requirements for Electrical. Candidate should be able teach residential and commercial aspects of electrical codes.
Candidate should be able to prepare students for a wide variety of careers within the electrical field. Knowledge of the Internet, Word Processing, Spreadsheet software, Web Page maintenance, electronic testing, electronic evaluation programs, as well as a basic level troubleshooting skills in a laboratory setting is required. Needs to be able to work collaboratively with colleagues, the community, business and industry and postsecondary, preparing students for college and career readiness.
Applicant must have the ability to work independently and with a team using effective communications skills with little direction. Strong interpersonal and advanced verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively present information to groups of individuals, guide decision making, and build consensus. Must be willing to collaborate with peers and work in a team teaching environment.

- This position requires an active NH Journeyman's Electrician License with the requirement to become a Master Electrician. A Bachelor’s degree or a similar background within Industry preferred. Candidates must be a certified Career and Technology Education (CTE) teacher or eligible to become a certified CTE teacher.
