Job Description
Special Education Teacher
Location: Wentworth, NH
Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IEPs.
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with disabilities.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and staff to adapt curriculum and instruction.
- Monitor student progress using assessments and data.
- Communicate with parents and guardians about student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters preferred).
- Valid New Hampshire teaching license in Special Education.
- Knowledge of special education laws and best practices.
- Experience with IEP development and implementation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
