High Mowing School is accepting applications for a full or part-time Music Teacher for the 2026-27 school year. Classes that would be taught include

• Middle School chorus and high school a cappella elective
• Middle and High School instrumental ensemble elective
• High School band
• High School music electives, including courses such as songwriting or music theory
• Participation in the yearly high school Musical, Nativity, and additional seasonal festivals

• Experience teaching choral singing to middle and high school students, able to play simple piano accompaniment.
• Experience teaching a wide variety of instrumental subject areas to high school students.
• Able to work collaboratively.
• Passionate and authentic.
• Experienced in teaching groups of middle and high school students, has experience working in a private school environment, and is passionate about sharing their love of music with these students.
• Patient, organized, and dependable, committed to excellence in the classroom, loves working with children, and eager to contribute to a strong community of dedicated teachers and students.
