Position: Special Education Teacher [82705]

We’re partnering with a school in Hillsborough County, New Hampshire to hire dedicated Special Education Teacher.

Special Education Teachers provide individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, helping them access the general education curriculum and achieve academic and behavioral success. This role supports the school community by fostering an inclusive environment and ensuring compliance with IEP goals and special education regulations.

Start Date:

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, full-time

In Person, 35 hours

School Year: 2026/2027

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student assessments and needs
  • Deliver specialized instruction aligned with state standards and individual student goals
  • Modify curriculum, lessons, and assessments to meet diverse learning needs
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulations
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and professional development
  • Implement behavior support plans and classroom management strategies
  • Create a structured, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Valid New Hampshire Special Education Teaching Certification
  • Knowledge of IDEA regulations, IEP development, and compliance requirements
  • Experience working with elementary students with diverse learning needs
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt teaching strategies
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
