John Turner Consulting, Inc. (JTC) is seeking an experienced Regional Materials Testing Manager to support operations across its Maine and New Hampshire offices. The role is ideal for a senior construction materials professional with 15+ years of experience in laboratory and field testing of concrete, soil, asphalt, masonry, and other construction materials in line with ASTM standards.

• Lead and support field and laboratory teams, ensuring productivity and operational efficiency across multiple sites.
• Drive quality standards through internal audits, QA/QC reviews, reporting, and continuous process improvements.
• Recruit, train, and develop high performing technical staff while maintaining accurate training records.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients.
• Ensure laboratory state accreditations and compliance standards are consistently maintained.
• Review timesheets, PTO requests, proposals, and staffing requirements to support business demands.
• Adapt to changing operational needs with flexibility to support varying schedules and workloads.

• Strong understanding of ASTM, CCRL, and NVLAP standards and testing procedures.
• ACI Certifications required.
• Proven ability to manage and lead annual laboratory accreditation processes.
• Ability to safely lift and move materials up to 50lbs, including soil and concrete samples.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Full valid driver’s licence with a clean/acceptable driving record.
