Salary Range: $30.70 to $30.70 annually

Hourly: $30.70 to $30.70

Up to an additional $5.09 per hour for health & welfare, depending on benefit enrollment.

Engineering / Maintenance Documentation Specialist supporting the Submarine Maintenance Engineering, Planning and Procurement (SUBMEPP) program of NAVSEA.

• Review engineering and technical documentation to ensure compliance with established standards, technical accuracy, and adequacy for functional, operational, and maintenance requirements.
• Utilize Windchill to prepare and manage updates for Maintenance Standards (MSs), ensuring proper configuration control.
• Perform engineering analysis, reviews, and studies to provide recommendations on the development, interoperability, integration, and use of MSs during submarine system, subsystem, and equipment maintenance.
• Review, analyze, maintain, and validate changes to technical submarine maintenance documentation to support lifecycle sustainment.
• Provide administrative support for program activities, including organizing meetings and preparing or maintaining historical files.

• Review engineering and technical documentation for compliance with engineering standards and operational requirements.
• Manage updates for MSs within Windchill.
• Conduct engineering analysis and provide recommendations related to MSs during submarine maintenance.
• Draft, validate, and maintain changes to technical submarine maintenance documentation.
• Perform administrative functions for special program efforts, such as meetings and maintenance of historical files.

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Familiarity with Maintenance Standards (MSs) and submarine Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) systems is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Proficiency with Adobe Pro for PDF manipulation.
• Experience with AutoCAD for drawing work.

• Active or current DoD Secret security clearance required.
• Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain or maintain a DoD Security Clearance.

Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. Requires frequent standing, walking, use of hands, and reaching.

Full‑time, 8 hours per day. Flexibility in hours is allowed with supervisor concurrence.

Situational telework may be allowed.

• Ability to travel CONUS; potential to travel OCONUS.
• Up to 10% travel may be required.
