Controller, Finance & Banking, Accounting Manager

KBW Financial Staffing and Recruiting has partnered a mid-size manufacturing organization in the Dover, NH area in their search for a Controller/Plant Controller. The organization is fantastic, great benefits, compensation package and culture.

You must have a clean resume with 5 to 10 years of corporate accounting experience in the manufacturing industry, solid understanding of standard cost, management of a small team and multi-site experience. Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Support core accounting activities across general ledger, reporting, and related functions
• Assist with periodic close processes (monthly, quarterly, annually)
• Contribute to preparation of financial reports and analysis of results versus expectations
• Help maintain and follow internal processes, policies, and controls
• Participate in cost-related analysis, including inventory and product costing activities
• Assist with standard cost accounting, including updates, variance analysis, and related reporting
• Support cash management and other finance-related activities as needed
• Provide guidance or collaboration across the team to help meet overall objectives
• Identify and support opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities within manufacturing
• Strong background in manufacturing accounting and cost analysis
• Experience with consolidations and multi-entity environments preferred
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills

Compensation up to $140k plus bonus and LTI
