** Summary
* * Under the supervision of the Chief Technologist, Director of Radiology, Chairman, and/or Manager, the Radiologic Technologist Assistant provides support and assists the Radiologic Technologist and or Radiologist with radiographic imaging procedures.
** Education
* * High school or equivalent (GED).
** Certification, Registration, and Licensure
** Certification required:
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification, or equivalent course credentialed by American Heart Association. Medical Technician - NH Board of Registration of Medical Technicians
** Experience
* * None required.
** Responsibilities
* ** Assists and supports the Technologist with related protocols, procedures and patient care.
* Acts as a liaison between technologist, radiologist and other departmental personnel.
* Verifies and documents pertinent exam information and assists with preparation and education of the patient for procedure and expectations.
* Utilizes hospital and departmental information, technology systems and equipment operation.
* Maintains a level of productivity, adaptability, flexibility and timeliness in managing workload and  processes required to meet patient care and department needs.
* Adheres to department policy and procedures and practices modality specific safety protocols.
* Actively engages in departmental meetings, modality meetings and committee initiatives.
* Completes hospital, departmental, and professional requirements.
* Participates in assignments, duties and responsibilities for continuous improvement in alignment with management and organizational goals
