Salary Range$41.81 - $67.45 an hour plus Shift Differential
Job SummaryThe Respiratory Therapy Lead coordinates and performs technical and administrative duties to administer respiratory therapy treatments to assigned patients. The role serves as a clinical resource for night shift staff, participates in all interviews, and works closely with the Manager. This position includes two clinical shifts (24 hrs) and an administrative shift.
Qualifications- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care (no experience in lieu of degree).
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license preferred;
Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred. - Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) and ACLS Medical Training preferred.
- State License Respiratory Care Practitioner preferred.
5-7 years preferred, minimum 3 years of experience in acute care respiratory therapy.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Subject matter expert in Respiratory Therapy; communicate effectively with patients, team members, and other healthcare disciplines.
- Assess quickly and provide professional judgment to prepare appropriate care plans and make specific recommendations to physicians.
- Strong and advanced communication skills to lead a team.
- Ability to walk distances and push medical equipment weighing less than 100 lbs.
