We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Human Resources and Employee Health Services to serve as a strategic partner in advancing our high-performing, people-centered culture. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, this influential leader will oversee the full spectrum of Human Resources and Employee Health Services, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, leadership development, workforce planning, employee engagement, performance management, and employee health services.

What Success Looks LikeThe Monadnock Community Hospital Director of Human Resources and Employee Health Services is a visible, collaborative, trusted leader and MCH ambassador who helps create an environment where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to do their best work. Through strong partnerships and innovative people practices, this role contributes directly to workforce stability, leadership effectiveness, employee engagement, and exceptional patient care outcomes.
ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership
- Partner with executive and operational leaders to align workforce strategies with organizational goals and patient care priorities, providing coaching and talent expertise to strengthen and support leader actions and strategies across MCH.
- Champion initiatives that enhance employee engagement, performance, accountability, employee wellbeing and organizational culture.
- Support the development and implementation of workforce and succession planning strategies.
- Foster a workplace culture built on respect, collaboration, inclusion, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Provide collaborative, strategic leadership in support of our expanding employee health services practice.
- Direct recruitment, hiring, onboarding, retention, and workforce development activities.
- Lead performance management & merit processes that support employee growth, recognition, and organizational excellence.
- Collaborate with leaders to identify strategic talent needs and create development plans for current and future leaders.
- Promote coaching, mentoring, and leadership development across all levels of the organization.
- Provide guidance and counsel to leaders regarding employee relations, conflict resolution, performance concerns, advanced employment law, and policy interpretation.
- Ensure fair, consistent, and legally compliant employment practices.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives and facilitate action planning based on employee feedback to continue to strengthen MCH culture.
- Serve as an advocate for a positive employee experience throughout the employment lifecycle.
