Our client is a well-established cybersecurity software company specialising in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and biometric authentication solutions. With over 30 years in the market and a global enterprise customer base, they are investing in their cloud platform and seeking a Dev Sec Ops Engineer to join a small, technically strong team.
This is a senior individual contributor role with broad ownership across AWS infrastructure, security operations, and deployment automation. You will work directly on a mission-critical SaaS platform serving tens of millions of authenticated users worldwide.
Key responsibilities- Design, architect, and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS using Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions, Jenkins) to automate deployment processes
- Implement and enforce security best practices including IAM, zero trust principles, and AWS security tooling (Guard Duty, AWS Config, IAM Identity Center)
- Develop observability and monitoring solutions using Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Datadog, and AWS Cloud Watch
- Automate provisioning and operational tasks via scripting in Bash and Node.js
- Perform root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and live incident response in production environments
- Contribute to disaster recovery strategy and high-availability architecture design
- Minimum 3 years in a Dev Ops or Dev Sec Ops engineering role managing cloud infrastructure
- Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, EKS, and Helm for containerised workload management
- Strong Linux OS fundamentals and containerisation (Docker)
- Experience with CI/CD tooling, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), and scripting (Bash, Node.js, AWS CLI)
- In-depth understanding of security principles including least privilege and zero trust
- Must be authorised to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- AWS certification (Solutions Architect or equivalent)
- Terraform Associate or Professional certification
