Position

Summary

The Lead BI Engineer is a technical leadership role responsible for defining and governing the organization's business intelligence (BI) platform and the data and analytics architecture that supports it. This position drives innovation in BI and analytics capabilities, ensures alignment with enterprise data and analytics strategy, and leads initiatives that enhance data‑driven decision‑making across the organization.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  • Defines and establishes enterprise‑wide BI architecture, standards, and best practices.
  • Oversees BI platform performance, ensuring reliability, scalability, security, and compliance.
  • Leads the development, implementation, and ongoing support of scalable data pipelines and data acquisition approaches.
  • Evaluates emerging technologies, tools, and trends, and recommends adoption to improve BI capabilities.
  • Collaborates closely with enterprise architecture, engineering, and business teams to deliver integrated data solutions.
  • Influences and contributes to enterprise data strategy, governance frameworks, and policies.
  • Provides leadership, mentoring, and guidance to Data and Analytics team members, fostering innovation and professional growth.
  • Ensures data and analytics initiatives support organizational goals and deliver measurable business value.
