About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle SCM Functional Architect to serve as a trusted advisor and principal domain expert on Oracle Supply Chain Management EBS implementations. This role will lead end-to-end supply chain transformation initiatives, providing functional leadership across multiple work streams while delivering scalable, business-aligned solutions across the full project lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end functional architecture across Oracle SCM EBS modules, including Inventory, Order Management, and Shipping, with a high-level focus on Warehouse Management (WMS).
  • Design SCM structures (Legal Entities, Operating Units, Inventory Orgs) and supply chain relationships aligned to the client’s operating model.
  • Define specific Warehouse Management rules (Pick/Putaway), strategies, workbench configurations, task types, and Oracle Mobile application menus.
  • Author and manage BRDs, FDDs, and Process Design Documents. Drive all delivery phases, including requirements gathering, CRP, SIT, UAT, cutover, and go-live support.
  • Oversee RICEW objects (reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, workflows) and define SCM data migration/conversion strategies for master and transaction data.
  • Build organizational relationships to gain buy-in for initiatives.
  • Facilitate workshops and provide transparent status updates on scope, risks, and change requests to stakeholders.
  • Anticipate business issues and implement comprehensive recommendations, taking ownership of resolution or ensuring a clear hand-off to the appropriate owner.
  • Contribute and manage all personnel and initiatives within the planning, design, development, implementation, maintenance, support, and enhancements of Oracle EBS.
  • Support continuous
    -business-process-improvement projects and independently manage new WMS site implementation projects.
  • Oversee and mentor L2 team on day-to-day production support and minor enhancement requests.
  • Work closely with cross-functional IT teams, internal and external business stakeholders to drive business requirements fulfillment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of Oracle EBS experience implementing and supporting WMS functionalities such as Order Management, Wave Planning, Pick-pack-and-ship, Load Planning, Shipping documentation, Replenishment, Inbound Receiving, Putaway, Slotting, Cross docking, Labeling etc.
  • Extensive process knowledge of the Oracle WMS processes (both functional and technical) with primary focus on picking, putaway, physical inventory, replenishment, task assignment, labeling.
  • Experience in configurations, process flows, data migration and conversion strategy of Oracle WMS, Inventory, Order Management, and Shipping modules with strong experience in supporting EBS R12.2.x core SCM modules.
  • Experience in Oracle SCM EBS module configurations and full lifecycle ERP implementations in manufacturing industry and warehouse.
  • Ability to grasp customer-specific custom solutions quickly and provide inputs to business thereafter, clarify and document current-state, future-state, and the gap that exists between the two states.
  • Basic experience with PL/SQL is required; strong PL/SQL experience is preferred.
  • Excellent English communication skills and customer-facing roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment.
  • Strong leadership in managing large-scale transformation programs
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
