The State of New Hampshire, NH Fish and Game Department has a full‑time vacancy for Educations Program Supervisor.

Supervise, evaluate, plan, manage, and implement NH Fish and Game Department’s Public Affairs Division Education Program, utilizing applicable federal and state and other funding sources to establish program goals and measurable objectives that address identified statewide issues and needs. The role coordinates and delivers integrated, state‑wide educational programs, policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with department direction and state and federal requirements.

Responsibilities include planning, program development, operation, and reporting to state and federal agencies and other granting authorities; supervision of outdoors skills education programs, K-12 Conservation Education programs, and staff; and maintaining compliance with all program and department standards, policies, and funding requirements.

Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.

  Experience:
  
  Bachelor’s degree and 4.5 years of experience OR equivalent combination of 8.5 years of education and experience after competition of high school. Education and experience must be in environmental conservation, natural resources management, recreational management, program administration or related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management level position.
• License/Certification:
  Valid Driver’s License
• Other Requirements:
  Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must meet the minimum standards as established by the agency.
• Trainee Option:
  Candidates with an equivalent combination of 7.5+ years of relevant education and experience after completion of high school may be considered and hired in ‘trainee status’ for this position.
• PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  
  Knowledge of Best Practices in conservation education.
• AFTER-HIRE REQUIREMENTS:
  Must attain NH Fishing and Hunting license within 12 months of hire.

DETAILED TASKS (AGENCY/POSITION-SPECIFIC Plans, implements, and evaluates statewide Public Affairs education programming in alignment with direction from the Department leadership, by integrating the national missions and strategic plans, as determined by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (the department’s primary partner in the federally funded education programs), and the Department of Fish and Game. Supervises and coordinates program delivery and outcomes in accordance with programmatic policies, procedures, and standards.
