Manufacturing Engineer

• Be responsible for manufacturing process and process improvements in the Dover facility. Own the flow, standard work, and equipment for the production processes.
• Support production by designing and providing new fixtures, tooling, and equipment, conducting time studies, and troubleshooting quality and process issues.
• Launch new equipment projects utilizing IQ, OQ, PQ process.
• Develop standard operating procedures and work instructions, support job safety analyses (JSAs), and be involved in PFMEA / control plans.
• Participate and drive continuous improvement activities and quality improvement initiatives relating to equipment and process. Utilize Lean manufacturing techniques.
• Provide guidance to Production Operators, Production leads, Supervisors, and Maintenance with respect to production process and equipment repair and upkeep.
• Liaison between engineering, quality, and manufacturing on new equipment, products, and product changes.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing, supporting both assembly/production processes and procedures.
• Hands‑on experience with process improvements, scrap reduction initiatives, equipment/tooling design.
• Proficient with Solid Works, proficient in AutoCAD a plus
• Knowledge and demonstrated use of Lean manufacturing concepts.
• Previous experience with PLC controls and automation preferred (Automation Direct, AB).
• Experience and/or exposure to quality methodologies and equipment. Cognex and Keyence Vision Systems a plus.
• Experience with fluid handling systems, pumps and plumbing systems preferred.
• Resourceful team player with effective verbal and written communication skills.

For this full‑time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $73,100 – $135,700 per year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs.

This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as an annual incentive bonus.
