Job Description

C. Cramer & Co., Inc. is seeking a Production Manager – Advanced Textile Manufacturing for its facility in Dover, New Hampshire.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily manufacturing operations across fiber conversion processes, including warping, weaving and special finishing equipment.
  • Lead, mentor and develop production teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality and cost optimization.
  • Ensure production schedules and quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality and supply chain teams, including our parent company in Germany.
  • Implement lean manufacturing and operational excellence best practices.
  • Monitor KPIs and production metrics, ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements, and troubleshoot technical and operational issues on the production floor.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • 5–10+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in textiles, composites or advanced materials.
  • Experience with high-performance fibers such as carbon, aramid/Kevlar and polyester.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and industrial machinery.
  • Experience leading production teams and familiarity with textile processing equipment and workflows.
  • Understanding of quality systems and process control.
  • Hands-on, practical and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Flexible and adaptable with strong communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Textiles, Manufacturing or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
