Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• 1+ year recent experience in CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) nursing
• BLS and ACLS certification (AHA)
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgeries, instrumentation, and sterile techniques
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment

Responsibilities:

• Assist the surgical team during cardiovascular procedures, ensuring high standards of care and patient advocacy
• Circulate and/or scrub in the CVOR, managing instruments, supplies, and patient safety
• Communicate proactively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff
• Maintain accurate documentation before, during, and after surgery
• Adhere to best safety practices, infection control protocols, and facility standards
