About This Role

The Triage RN in Endocrinology at Mass General Brigham provides patient care primarily over the phone, assessing symptoms and chronic disease concerns related to endocrinology. This role is ideal for nurses looking to work in a dynamic ambulatory care environment with a focus on patient education and support.

• Pay: $36.87 - $50.76/Hourly

• Deliver direct patient care and support in the ambulatory care unit.
• Conduct patient assessments and devise care plans.
• Assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and medications.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Administer medications and perform IV therapy.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
• Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Independently assess patient symptoms and medication questions using established triage protocols.
• Float to other departments as needed during staffing shortages.

• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing required;
  Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience: Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required;
  Ambulatory care or outpatient experience 1-2 years preferred.

  Current RN License in New Hampshire required;
  Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
