About This Role
The RN in Same Day Surgery at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital is responsible for providing individualized nursing care, interpreting medical plans, and ensuring safe and competent nursing practices. This per diem position is ideal for nurses looking for flexible scheduling while delivering high-quality patient care.
Highlights- Pay: $32.29 - $62.57 hourly
- Location: Dover, NH
- Facility: Wentworth-Douglass Hospital
- Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift
- Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
- Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
- Record patients’ medical information and vital signs.
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients’ conditions.
- Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
- Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients’ responses and conditions.
- Education:
Associate’s Degree in Nursing required;
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. - Experience:
Clinical nursing experience 0‑1 year required. - Licenses &
Certifications:
Current RN License in New Hampshire required; BLS certification required; ACLS preferred; NRP preferred; PALS preferred.
