Accountable for interpreting the plan of medical care, assessment of patients’ clinical decision‑making regarding nursing care, assuring nursing care is provided in a safe and competent manner, providing individualized nursing care, and evaluating nursing care for groups of patients. $5,000 sign‑on bonus available (current WDH RN’s NOT eligible).

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients’ medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients’ conditions.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients’ responses and conditions.

• Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing required;
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Licenses and Credentials: Registered Nurse (RN – State License);
  Basic Life Support (BLS);
  Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred;
  Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (NRP) preferred;
  Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification (PALS) preferred.
• Experience: Clinical nursing experience 0‑1 year required.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Familiarity with practical nursing principles and skills; knowledge of age‑specific care; ability to maintain confidentiality; knowledge of medical terminology; excellent verbal and communication skills; ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients.

• Full‑time night position on 4G, a busy Med/Surg/Tele unit.
• Opportunity to expand nursing skills with medical and telemetry care and interventions.
• 36 scheduled weekly hours. Night shift.
• Remote type onsite work; location 789 Central Avenue.

• 5‑6:1 RN ratio for med/surg telemetry patients.
• Designated clinical educator and house‑wide night shift clinical educator.
• Day/Night clinical practice leader.
• Clinical coach.
• Resource RN with minimal patient assignment.
• Designated LNA per shift.
• Self‑scheduling opportunity.
• Weekend differential; every other weekend a month commitment.

Pay range:
Grade6
