About This Role
The OR Registered Nurse at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital is responsible for providing individualized nursing care, interpreting medical care plans, and ensuring safe and competent nursing practices. This role is ideal for experienced nurses looking to make a significant impact in a surgical setting.
Highlights- Pay: $32.29 - $62.57/Hourly
- Location: Dover, NH
- Facility: Wentworth-Douglass Hospital
- Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift
- Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 (current WDH RN's NOT eligible)
- Maintain accurate, detailed reports, and records.
- Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
- Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
- Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
- Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.
Education:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required;
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- Minimum 1 year OR RN experience required
Certifications:
- Current RN License in New Hampshire required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (NRP) preferred
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification (PALS) preferred
