About This Role
The RN - Med/Surg position at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital involves providing individualized nursing care, interpreting medical plans, and ensuring safe and competent nursing practices. Highlights- Pay: $5,000 Sign on Bonus Available for Full time and Part time positions
- Location: Dover, NH
- Facility: Wentworth-Douglass Hospital
- Department/Unit: Med Surg/Bariatric Unit
- Schedule: Part-Time, Day shift
- Maintain accurate, detailed reports, and records.
- Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
- Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
- Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
- Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.
- Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- Experience: Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required
- Licenses &
Certifications:- Current RN License in New Hampshire required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (NRP) preferred
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification (PALS) preferred
