The RN in the Critical Care Stepdown Unit is responsible for interpreting medical care plans, assessing patients, and providing individualized nursing care in a safe and competent manner. This role is ideal for nurses looking to expand their experience in a supportive environment.

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports, and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

• 1+ years of clinical nursing experience required

• Current RN License in New Hampshire required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS preferred
• NRP preferred
• PALS preferred

• 3:1 RN ratio for IMCU patients
• 4:1 RN ratio for med/surg tele patients
• Pharmacist on the unit
• Designated clinical educator and a house-wide night shift clinical educator
• Inpatient clinical coach
• Day/Night Clinical practice leader
• Resource RN with minimal patient assignment
• Designated LNAs per shift
• Leadership support
