About This Role

The RN - Med/Surg Float Pool position at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital is responsible for providing patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring high standards of healthcare through skilled nursing expertise and patient advocacy.

• Pay: $40 - $67.87/hour
• Location: Dover, NH
• Facility: Wentworth-Douglass Hospital
• Schedule: Per Diem, Rotating

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and assist in treatments and procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-care instructions.
• Uphold infection control measures to ensure a safe clinical environment.
• Respond efficiently and effectively to emergent situations, demonstrating sound judgment and critical thinking skills.

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

• Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required

• Current RN License in New Hampshire required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (NRP) preferred
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification (PALS) preferred
