About This Role
The RN - Med/Surg Float Pool position at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital involves providing comprehensive nursing care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring high standards of healthcare through skilled nursing expertise and patient advocacy.
Highlights- Pay: $32.29 - $62.57/Hourly
- Location: Dover, NH
- Facility: Wentworth-Douglass Hospital
- Schedule: Full-Time, Night shift
- Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 Sign on Bonus Available for Full time and Part time positions
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and assist in treatments and procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Educate patients and families on health management and post-care instructions.
- Uphold infection control measures to ensure a safe clinical environment.
- Respond efficiently and effectively to emergent situations, demonstrating sound judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Associate's Degree Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
- Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required
- Current RN License in New Hampshire required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (NRP) preferred
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification (PALS) preferred
