Assignment Length: 3 months with strong potential for long - term placement

• 5:30 AM - 5:45 PM
• 20% Shift Differential

We're seeking detail-oriented Mechanical Dimensional Inspectors to join a growing manufacturing team. This is a temporary assignment with potential to become a long-term opportunity for the right candidate.

• Perform routine mechanical, dimensional, and visual inspections of manufactured parts.
• Use precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, comparators, and other inspection tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints and inspection documentation.
• Record inspection results and investigate discrepancies.
• Complete inspection reports and documentation accurately.
• Operate basic Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programs with training and support.
• Assist production by ensuring products meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicate quality concerns and corrective actions with supervisors and team members.

• At least 1 year of inspection experience in a manufacturing, machining, or light industrial environment OR 1+ year of machining experience with some inspection responsibilities
• Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
• Basic blueprint reading skills.
• Basic understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• CMM experience (loading, unloading, or operating) is a plus
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Understanding of machining processes and manufactured components.

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform inspections throughout the shift.
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
